Vehicle return
- Is it possible to return the vehicle outside of working hours?

- In case of returning the vehicle outside of working hours without the presence of an ATET representative during the return, there is no additional fee, but the full vehicle inspection will be carried out the following working day in the morning. Until then, the responsibility for the vehicle lies with the lessee.
- In case of returning the vehicle outside of working hours with an ATET representative present during the return, an additional cost of 30.50 € for picking up the vehicle outside of working hours will be included.
- What is the payment process?

A deposit or funds reservation is made when the vehicle is picked up using a credit card - the amount is blocked and upon returning the vehicle, only the rental amount is charged, and the rest is released back to the account. In most cases, banks require 7-14 days to process the release.
Payment is only possible with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Diners) or a card that allows for funds reservation. More information is available under Customer Support - Reservation). Please check the features and payment options of your card before picking up the vehicle with your bank.
Any payment in advance or after an invoice is possible only with prior approval from our reservation center.

- What if a new damage has been found on the vehicle upon return?

The renter is responsible for any new damages to the vehicle during the rental period, depending on the selected liability waiver and coverage, or previously confirmed rental terms and conditions.
In case of vehicle damage found after the return without the presence of an ATET representative, ATET d.o.o. reserves the right to inform the renter about the damage within 3 (three) business days after the end of the rental. The renter is responsible for any damages recognized by the renter or confirmed based on a report/inspection at an authorized service center.

According to the selected liability waiver and coverage, additional administrative fees may also be charged to the renter.
- Do I need to return the rented car with a full tank of fuel?

Fuel is not included in the rental price. The rented vehicle is usually delivered with a full tank of fuel that is prescribed for the particular type of vehicle.
The renter is obligated to return the vehicle to Atet d.o.o. with a full tank of the appropriate fuel for the vehicle type. Otherwise, the renter will be additionally charged for the cost of refueling the vehicle's tank to full capacity.
The cost of refueling service is 30.00€ plus the cost of the missing quantity of fuel according to the current price list.

Administrative cost for handling damage claims / AHF

Administrative cost for providing information (fines, traffic violations) / FHF

The administrative cost for handling damage claims (AHF) is charged in all cases where there is a need to provide data, additional administrative work, obtaining all relevant documents, and thorough processing of processes that arose due to damage caused by the tenant during the vehicle rental period.
- The administrative cost for handling damage (AHF) claims is €70.00 (VAT included).
- The administrative cost for handling fines (FHF) is charged in cases where there is a need to provide information about the person who committed the traffic violation during the rental period, to the relevant state authorities and institutions.
- The cost of providing/ forwarding information is €25.00 (VAT included).
*ATET d.o.o. is entitled to charge the tenant for costs even after the rental period has ended (by submitting appropriate documentation and evidence) due to official deadlines and the duration of criminal proceedings and obtaining the necessary documentation.
